Security & data handling

Your accounts. Your data. Your call.

Rumbi builds automations inside accounts your business owns, with only the access each project needs. Here’s exactly how we handle access, logins and data.

Our principles

Least-privilege access

We ask only for the permissions a project needs, and only for as long as we need them.

Client-owned accounts

Automations live in your accounts, so you keep everything if you stop working with us.

No passwords by email

We use invited user accounts or secure password manager sharing. Never email or text.

How we access your tools

Access, step by step

  1. We list what’s needed

Your scope names every tool we’ll touch and the access each one requires.

  2. You invite us

You add us as a user with limited permissions, instead of sharing your own login.

  3. We build in your accounts

Connections and automations are set up under your business, not ours.

  4. We hand off and step back

At handoff we remove our access, unless you’ve asked us to keep supporting it.

Data handling

How we handle your data

  • Used only for your project. We use your data to build, test and support your automations, and nothing else. We don’t sell it.
  • Minimal copies. Automations move data between your own tools. We avoid storing your customer data on our side wherever possible.
  • Test with care. We test with real examples only when needed, and with your permission.
  • Retention. Project notes and any working files are deleted after the project ends, unless you ask us to keep them.
  • Offboarding. When we stop working together, we remove our access and give you documentation for everything we built.

Data and security questions

Who owns the automations you build?

You do. Wherever possible, we build inside accounts your business owns, so the automations, data and logins stay with you, even if you stop working with us.

What access do you need to my tools?

Only what the project needs, for as long as it needs it. We prefer you invite us as a user with limited permissions instead of sharing your main login. See Security & data handling.

How do you handle passwords and logins?

We never ask for passwords by email or text. We use invited user accounts or a secure password manager share, and we remove our access at the end of the project unless you’ve asked us to keep supporting it.

Do you sell or share my data?

No. We use your data only to build and support your automations. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
